DNA loves... Antoine de Pins

Antoine is a painter living and working between France and Mexico. After working for several years in the telecommunications sector in East Africa, he decided to devote himself fully to painting in 2018.

His work focuses on the exploration of materials by developing experimental techniques in search of a means of personal expression through abstract creations. His technique, based on counter-intuitive gestures such as crumpling wet canvases or cutting up blocks of paper, is a permanent balance between destruction and reconstruction. This dichotomy gives his works a raw, almost chaotic character with cosmic beauty.
